KartoMNT is now available in a FreeWare project on Source Forge : http://sourceforge.net/projects/kartomnt/.

Download fichier Zip d'installation KartoMNT_V2_Windows.zip (9.5 Mo)

Unzip KartoMNT_V2_Windows.zip.

In the KartoMNT directory just installed, change the first line of KartoMNT.bat and
compileFormat.bat files to insert your Java directory path.

Then you can run KartoMNT (with KartoMNT.bat)
Linux version
If you have a Java Runtime Environment installed (version 1.4.1)...

Download fichier d'install KartoMNT_v2_Linux.zip (9.5 Mo)

Unzip KartoMNT_v2_Linux.zip where you want KartoMNT to be installed.

In the KartoMNT directory just installed, change the first line of runKartoMNT.sh and
compileFormat.sh files to insert your Java directory path.

Run KartoMNT with the command sh runKartoMNT.sh

Erratum
There is a mistake in the Installation Pack : a java option is missing.
So the program does not use all available memory. An Out Of Memory Error can be expected will opening big maps.
You have to add "-Xmx256M" option to alow Java to use 256 Mo instead of 64.
Modify this value depending of your computer capacities ( 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024)
Modify KartoMNT.bat file utile you have :
jre-1_4_1_02\bin\java -Xmx256M -classpath .;lib;lib/kartoMNT.jar;lib/j3dcore.jar;lib/j3dutils.jar;lib/j3daudio.jar;lib/vecmath.jar -Djava.library.path=bin kartoMNT.Main

Download the file KartoMNT.jar (370 ko)

And copy it in the KartoMNT "lib" directory to replace the old one (save the old file, if you have problems with the new one you'll can roll back).

The MNT visualisation neads Java 3D libraries and DirectX or OpenGL drivers. To Download Java libraries for your drivers, go to the SUN web site :

KartoMNT install program contains a standard version of this libraries. If you have problems, download your specifics drivers.

Program is available in French, Englich and Spanish.
Documentation is only available in French.
